Last Supermoon 2022 Schedule Occurs This Week

Space phenomenon Supermoon the fourth and last of the year will occur on Friday (11/8). This supermoon is known as the Strugeon Moon which can be seen at midnight.

This supermoon is predicted to take place on Thursday (11/8) at around 21:36 EDT, at 18:36 PDT, or on Friday (12/8) at 1.36 WIB in the morning.

If you want to see it, you can look up at the sky to the southeast so you can enjoy the beauty of the Supermoon Sturgeon when it shines, about five degrees to the celestial south.

While most observers in North America are said to typically see 50 or 60 meteors per hour, a full moon will reduce meteor visibility to around 10-20 per hour.

Supermoon Explanation

A full moon occurs when the Moon and Sun face each other and the Sun’s rays shine directly on the Moon.

In that position it may be difficult to see features on the Moon’s surface in detail during a Full Moon due to the lack of shadows.

Supermoon is the term for a Full Moon that occurs during the Moon’s closest approach to Earth in its orbit, known as perigee.

The planet Saturn, which is almost at its brightest point for the year, will appear above the Moon Thursday evening through Friday morning, August 11-12 2022, shifting from top left to top right as the night progresses.

According to eclipse experts and retired NASA astrophysicists, the definition of a supermoon is a full moon within 90 percent of its closest approach to Earth.

There are four space phenomena that can be seen this year, we have seen three in May, June and July and the August Supermoon will occur last this year.

Supermoon phenomenon as it has happened this year is not a strange thing. Based on Space’s records, in 2023 there will also be four Supermoons, as will happen in 2024. In fact, in 2025 it will occur three times in a row.

If you use a telescope or binoculars to observe the last Supermoon of the year, the observations will be much clearer.
