KwaZulu-Natal ‍Braces ‌for ‌Warm Temperatures and⁣ Potential Fog

DURBAN – KwaZulu-Natal residents can expect continued warm weather this week, with highs reaching 32°C in⁤ Richards Bay. While most areas will⁤ remain dry and sunny, motorists are advised to exercise caution due to potential fog in higher-lying regions,⁣ notably during morning commutes.

Teh forecast signals a⁤ continuation of summer-like‌ conditions for the province, impacting daily life from travel to outdoor activities. Forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela‍ of the South African Weather Service confirmed temperatures will ⁤remain elevated, especially ⁢along the coast. This comes as South africa experiences‍ ongoing ⁣shifts in regional‍ weather patterns, making localized forecasts increasingly important for residents and businesses.

Pietermaritzburg will experience a temperature range from a low of 12°C in the morning to a high of 27°C in the⁣ afternoon.‍ Richards Bay is predicted to be the warmest location, potentially exceeding 30°C.

“Temperatures ‌across KZN will remain high, particularly along ⁤the coast where Richards Bay could exceed 30°C,” Thobela stated.

fog⁣ patches are anticipated⁣ in elevated areas during the mornings, potentially reducing visibility. Motorists⁣ are urged to drive carefully and‌ allow extra ⁣travel⁣ time.

“Fog is expected in parts of KwaZulu-Natal, especially over the highlands, which could reduce⁤ visibility during morning travel,” Thobela noted.

Scattered rainfall⁢ is absolutely possible in eastern and inland regions ⁢of KZN tomorrow afternoon, but ‌is not expected to be widespread. Following any localized showers, ⁣slightly cooler evening conditions are anticipated⁢ in those areas.

“While most of KZN‍ will⁣ remain dry, light rainfall could develop in the eastern ⁣and‍ western parts during the afternoon,”⁤ Thobela ‌explained.
