National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) will ask the police for information regarding the search at the house of the former Head of the National Police Propam Division Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo who is now a suspect.
Moreover, Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam said, from the beginning his party was committed to the police to openly investigate the case of Brigadier J’s shooting.
“It’s not about the result (the search) that matters the most, but what, and why, for example,” said Anam at the Komnas HAM Office, Central Jakarta on Wednesday (10/8).

Anam said that Komnas HAM would continue to strive so that the public would receive complete information. Therefore, it will investigate anything related to the case.
“So all these related processes (including searches), with the spirit of how to make light of the incident,” he said.
“So that the public knows the complete information, in fact, yes, we will do it. So we will ask all the processes,” he added.
The special team (timsus) of the National Police previously searched Sambo’s private residence on Jalan Saguling III, Mining Complex, Duren Tiga Barat, Pancoran, South Jakarta for 9 hours.
The search was carried out following the determination of Ferdy Sambo as a suspect in the shooting of Brigadier J alias Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat last July 8th.
Based on monitoring CNNIndonesia.com at the location, a team of Brimob officers was seen transporting a white container with a blue lid containing goods. The container was immediately loaded into one of the three tactical cars parked around the area of Sambo’s house.
