Jennifer Lopez Celebrates New Film with Rarely Seen Teen Twins
Jennifer Lopez stepped out with her 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, at a New York City screening of Kiss of the Spider Woman on Tuesday, October 8, offering a rare public glimpse of her growing children. The appearance comes as Lopez navigates the challenges of parenting teenagers, a phase she previously described as “challenging.”
Lopez shares Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. The twins were born in February 2008, and Lopez has often spoken of the immediate and profound love she felt for them. This latest outing highlights a continued close relationship as her children support her latest professional endeavor.
During a past appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Lopez acknowledged the shift in dynamics that comes with raising teenagers. “The teenage years are tough,” she said. “It’s challenging. You have this baby for a while and then it’s like, your best little friend who loves being with you all the time, and then all of a sudden it’s like, ‘Get out of my room.'”
Lopez previously described her feelings for her children as “unconditional love,” telling people magazine, “I know everybody feels this way about their kids, but I just feel like they’re super special. I can’t wait to see what they do.”
Kiss of the Spider Woman is currently in theaters, having premiered on Friday, October 10.
