More Teams Qualify for Historic 2026 Table Tennis Championships in London
Eleven additional national teams in both men’s and women’s competition have earned thier places at the 2026 World Table Tennis Championships, following qualification based on November 2025 world rankings. This announcement builds on the 48 teams per gender already qualified through recent continental championships.
The upcoming Championships, scheduled for April 28 – May 10, 2026, hold special significance as they return to England - the birthplace of both the event and the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) – for a centennial celebration. The competition will feature a two-phase format: group stages to determine advancement, followed by a knockout main draw.

These newly qualified teams join those who secured their spots through continental championships across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania. All qualification spots remain subject to final confirmation from the respective member associations.
