Apple and Issey Miyake Launch iPhone Pocket, a New Wearable iPhone Accessory
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA – November 13, 2024 – Apple today announced iPhone Pocket, a collaborative design with Japanese fashion label ISSEY MIYAKE, offering a new way to carry and wear iPhone. The accessory reimagines the utility of ISSEY MIYAKE’s signature pleated clothing, inspired by the concept of “a piece of cloth.” Development occurred in close collaboration with the Apple Design Studio.
iPhone Pocket is a limited-edition release available in two strap lengths: short and long. The short strap comes in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black, while the long strap is offered in sapphire, cinnamon, and black.Pricing is $149.95 (U.S.) for the short strap design and $229.95 (U.S.) for the long strap design.
The accessory will be available starting Friday, November 14, at select Apple Store locations and apple.com in France, Greater China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and the U.S. Apple Specialists will be available to assist customers with color and length combinations.
