Sleman, Indonesia – The Indonesian Women’s national Team completed a dramatic comeback Wednesday evening, defeating Nepal 2-1 in a closely contested trial match at Maguwoharjo Stadium in Sleman, DI Yogyakarta. Garuda Pertiwi overcame a first-half deficit to secure the victory.

Nepal took the lead in the 20th minute, capitalizing on a corner kick that Indonesia’s Vivi Oktavia Riski was unable to defend, resulting in a header that found the back of the net. Despite an early scoring chance for Marsela Yuliana Awi, which narrowly missed the target, Indonesia struggled to respond before halftime.
The second half saw a revitalized Indonesian side. Gea Yumanda leveled the score in the opening minutes, converting a rebound from a corner kick with a powerful right-footed volley. The decisive goal arrived in the 67th minute, again through Gea Yumanda, following a play initiated by Ayunda Dwi. A blocked shot from Ayunda set up aulia Al Mabruroh, who initially had her attempt saved but powerfully struck the rebound into the top of the Nepal net, securing a 2-1 lead.
The score remained unchanged through the final whistle, confirming Indonesia’s hard-fought victory.
