After a two-day data breach, the numbers are now fixed: the Darmstadt-Dieburg district is also a risk area.
DARMSTADT-DIEBURG DISTRICT – There were no new infections in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district on Sunday and Monday. The reason was a technical error that has now been corrected: The circle shoots from an incidence of 30 (on Friday) to 52.7 and is now also considered a risk area with all its consequences. Last Friday, the district had already joined the measures of the other municipalities and districts in Hesse, which also have incidences of 35 or higher. In the course of the day, the district wants to inform you which measures are now due. “These must be based on the new regulations in Hesse. We hardly have any leeway,” says District Administrator Klaus Peter Schellhaas. On Tuesday morning, 87 new infections were added in one fell swoop. Now the circle is slowly approaching the 1000 mark: 980 people have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic. With an incidence of 52.7, the district is still below the national average of 64.5.
