Fall Foliage Train Rides Begin This Weekend in Titusville
TITUSVILLE, PA – scenic train rides through Oil Creek State Park showcasing Pennsylvania‘s fall foliage are set to begin this weekend, offering passengers a unique vantage point to experience the changing leaves. The Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad is hosting Fall Foliage rides beginning Saturday, Oct. 5, and continuing on select dates through Oct. 20, alongside a special Halloween-themed train ride on Oct. 25.
The railroad provides a relaxing, three-hour journey through the heart of the park, allowing riders to enjoy the vibrant autumn colors. Coach tickets are available at varying prices depending on age: $20 for adults, $18 for seniors ages 60 and older, and $14 for children ages 2-12. Children two and under ride free. A separate Halloween Train ride will depart on Oct.25, with tickets priced at $27 for adults, $25 for seniors, and $21 for children ages 1-12, with those under one riding free.
The Fall Foliage rides will operate on multiple dates: Oct. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20, all departing at 11 a.m. Passengers are requested to arrive one hour prior to departure. The Halloween Train departs on Oct. 25 at 11 a.m., also requiring a one-hour advance arrival.
The Halloween Train promises a family-friendly atmosphere with treat bags for children ages 12 and under, and riders are encouraged to wear costumes, though they are not required. Both ride options are exclusively available in coach seating.
