Everland Launches “X-mas Fantasy” Winter Festival December 28th
YONGIN, SOUTH KOREA – Everland, South Korea’s largest theme park operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced today it will launch its “X-mas Fantasy” winter festival on December 28th, running through December 31st. The festival promises a full immersion into the Christmas spirit with a variety of attractions and performances.
A highlight of the festival is the ”Bling Bling X-mas Parade,” a 30-minute spectacle featuring carol-themed music and performances by Santa and Rudolph character actors on a specially designed parade car. On the Grand Stage, the “very Merry Santa Village” performance will be held twice daily, showcasing Everland’s Lenny & Friends alongside Santa, Rudolph, and elves, recounting the story of Santa’s Village and offering “X-mas photo time” with the characters.
Everland is also partnering with Netflix for the ”K-Pop Demon Hunters (Kedeheon) Singalong Fireworks Show” held nightly, with a dedicated Kedeheon theme zone at the entrance to Alpine Village for an immersive experience.
The Four Seasons Garden will be transformed with a “Wizard of Oz” theme, complete with Christmas photo opportunities. Following its popular fall horror concept, Alpine Village will become “Snow Oz Park,” depicting a frozen kingdom where the Witch of the East’s curse has been lifted. Visitors to Snow Oz Park can capture a unique commemorative video using a 360-degree rotating camera inside a gift box-shaped tower.
Beyond the themed attractions, a range of snow activities will be available starting mid-next month, including “Snow Buster” with varying levels of sledding thrills – racing courses, express courses, snow yards, tracks, and playgrounds. A “hot Food Street” will offer seasonal treats like hotteok, bungeobbang, and roasted sweet potatoes.
Adding a touch of spring to the winter festivities, the “Butterfly’s Dreaming Garden” will open on the 5th of next month, allowing guests to view butterflies in advance of the season.
The announcement was made by Everland on December 24th, as reported by Newsis.
