Speaking wiht ‘The Knot’ magazine, Evans detailed his efforts to learn Portuguese for the proposal. “She is Portuguese, so I learned to say ‘want to marry me?’ in Portuguese,”
he explained, emphasizing the importance of the gesture.
The actor’s dedication was intense. “I was so nervous. I trained all week! I practiced so much that sometimes, while making breakfast, repeated the sentence aloud. It looked like a song that didn’t get out of my mind and thought, ‘Be careful, still revealed everything unintentionally,'”
Evans recalled with a laugh.
