Child Pornography Allegations Surface in Thomas Markle’s Mexico Storage Unit

Thomas Markle Sr., the estranged father of Meghan Markle, faces new allegations after child pornography and explicit materials were reportedly discovered in a storage unit he rented in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, according to the Daily Mail. The findings, which include books on pedophilia, 35mm negatives, and over 50 video tapes, have prompted FBI involvement and ongoing investigations in the Philippines. The discovery adds to a growing scandal surrounding the former Hollywood lighting director, who has consistently denied the accusations.

Storage Unit Discovery in Mexico

According to the Daily Mail, a storage unit rented by Thomas Markle Sr. in 2017 was accessed after he failed to pay lease fees for two years. The unit, located near his former home in Rosarito Beach, reportedly contained a “stash” of explicit materials, including magazines depicting child sexual abuse, books on pedophilia, and photographs of naked Asian females. The outlet obtained receipts confirming the rental and described the contents as “disturbing,” with some images appearing to show minors. A paper plate marked “DARK WEB” and various URLs was also found, suggesting potential online activity.

Per the Daily Mail, the unit contained 31 black-and-white photographs, some of which allegedly depict the same young girl. One image shows Markle, then in his 40s or 50s, posing on a hotel bed with the girl, while another captures her naked and leaning forward. Additional photos and video tapes, including titles like “Boys – Brother and Sister – Russian XX” and “Manila Nites,” were reportedly discovered. The FBI has been alerted, with the agency stating it will “investigate any related allegations of federal violations of U.S. law.”

Philippines Investigates Thomas Markle Sr. for Child Pornography

Thomas Markle Sr. is already under investigation in the Philippines following claims that his son, Thomas Markle Jr., uncovered child pornography at his father’s home in Cebu. Philippine authorities, including Interior Minister Jonvic Remulla, have described the case as “a possible sex offender of the grossest kind.” Remulla stated that forensic analysis of the alleged materials will be complete within a week, with results expected to clarify the extent of the findings. The Philippine National Police have not yet released details about the investigation’s progress.

The FBI has confirmed awareness of the allegations. However, no official charges have been filed, and Markle Sr. has denied wrongdoing. In a statement to the Daily Mail, he said, “I could never do what I’m being accused of. It’s the worst thing anyone could accuse me of. This is bulls***. It’s just a bunch of lies.”

Meghan Markle Cuts Ties to Protect Her Children

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has expressed distress over the allegations, stating in a public statement shared with Us that she was “deeply distressed at the news.” She revealed that a letter alleging her father’s abuse had been sent to London’s Metropolitan Police and Royalty and Specialist Protection in 2018, which prompted her estrangement from Thomas Sr. “I trusted that the authorities were doing the same for other families,” she added, emphasizing her decision to cut ties with her father to protect her children.

Thomas Sr.’s relationship with Meghan has been strained since her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, during which he was accused of staging paparazzi photos. He did not attend the ceremony and has not met his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. His son, Thomas Markle Jr., has publicly supported the allegations, with the Philippines investigation now focusing on his claims.

Past Abuse Claims Resurface Amid New Discoveries

Thomas Markle Sr. divorced Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, in 1987 after eight years of marriage. In 2018, a letter detailing claims of abuse by his ex-wife, Roslyn Loveless, was sent to British authorities. The recent discoveries in Mexico and the Philippines have reignited these concerns, with authorities now examining both the storage unit and his prior residences.

What’s Next for Thomas Markle Sr.?

The next critical step in the case is the completion of forensic analysis on the materials found in the Philippines. Philippine authorities have indicated they will release findings within a week. If charges are filed, Thomas Markle Sr. could face severe legal consequences.
