The apparent thawing of their relationship follows years of publicly acknowledged strain. Cheyenne Ochsenknecht previously stated she had ceased contact with her father, telling the “Breakfast with Me” podcast in October 2024, “I don’t have any contact with my father either, I’ve given up.” she had described a close relationship during her mother Natascha Ochsenknecht’s illness, but a subsequent distancing after her parents’ divorce.
