Aligne CEO Credits Instincts and Direct Dialog for Company’s Surge to $8-Figure Revenue
NEW YORK – Aligne, a contemporary women’s fashion brand, has achieved eight-figure revenue following a strategic refocus under CEO Ginny Seymour, who attributes the success to trusting her instincts and fostering clear communication within her team.Seymour, a fashion industry veteran, took the helm of the company – originally founded in London in 2020 – and spearheaded a refounding that unlocked significant growth.
The shift comes as many small businesses grapple with navigating economic uncertainty and competitive markets. Aligne’s story offers a blueprint for entrepreneurs seeking to revitalize existing brands and underscores the importance of decisive leadership. The company’s success demonstrates how a clear vision, coupled with a willingness to directly articulate needs, can translate into ample financial gains and a stronger team dynamic.
Seymour began her career as a contemporary buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue before taking the reins at Aligne. Recognizing an opportunity to realise her long-held ambition of leading a fashion brand, she embraced the challenge of refounding the wholesale women’s fashion brand initially established by Dalbir Bains.
One of the most significant lessons Seymour learned during her initial months as CEO was the power of vocalizing her vision. “Three months in, I had this moment where I brought the team together and was much clearer about what I wanted,” Seymour told Entrepreneur. “That brought them more on the journey with me, and it solidified us as a team and our values. if you have an idea and you’re building your own business, trusting your gut and not being scared to say it is indeed powerful.”
Seymour, who always dreamed of being a CEO of a fashion brand, emphasized the importance of directness in achieving desired outcomes. The company currently focuses on contemporary women’s fashion and is positioned within the growing enduring fashion market.
