Bulldogs roll to easy win

ATHENS, Ga. – The Georgia Bulldogs dominated Marshall 48-7 Saturday afternoon at sanford Stadium,kicking off the 2024 season with a decisive victory. Redshirt freshman Drew Miller handled punting duties for the Bulldogs, stepping in with Brett Thorson doubtful due to a knee injury.

Georgia’s offense proved to potent for Marshall,establishing control early and maintaining it throughout the contest. The Bulldogs showcased their depth at running back, with Erick Robinson, Josh McCray, and Micah Bell all seeing carries.Freshman Elijah Griffin is currently second-string behind Miller at punter.

Injury Updates:

Georgia punter Brett Thorson remains questionable as he recovers from a knee injury sustained before last season’s College Football Playoff. Backup center Malachi Toliver is also doubtful with an ankle injury. Coach Kirby Smart expressed hope for Toliver’s return to team practice next week.
