Damon Albarn has offered his thoughts on the ongoing reunion of fellow Britpop titans pulp, expressing his support for their continued musical endeavors.
While Blur‘s recent Coachella performance in 2025 may have been met with a muted reception and potentially marked the band’s final show, Albarn appears to hold no ill will towards other Britpop acts still actively performing. When asked about Pulp’s reunion and their new album, More, Albarn responded with a cheerful, “God bless them as well. God bless everybody!”
With Blur’s activities seemingly winding down, Albarn is now concentrating on his latest project, Africa Express Presents… Bahidorá, a collaboration with Africa Express. Meanwhile, Oasis is currently in the midst of a highly anticipated five-night homecoming residency in Manchester. The band is also gearing up for their North American tour leg, scheduled to commence in August. Tickets for these performances are available for purchase.
In addition to their live shows, Oasis has announced the release of the Oasis: Complete Studio Album Collection box set. This comprehensive collection will be available as either an 8xCD or a 14xLP set, with a release date of August 22nd. Pre-orders for the standard CD and vinyl editions are currently open, alongside Amazon-exclusive gold CD and vinyl variants.
