Belén: Argentine Film Earns Critics Choice Nomination

Argentine Film belén Receives Major ‍Critics’ Choice Award Nomination, Boosting​ Oscar Hopes

LOS ‍ANGELES, CA – December 10, 2023Belén, teh Argentine film directed by Iván Fund, has been nominated for Best International Film at the 29th⁣ Critics’ Choice ⁤Awards, significantly ​raising its profile as awards ‍season heats up. The nomination, announced​ today, positions the film as a⁤ strong contender for ​further recognition, including a potential spot on ​the Oscar shortlist for Best International Film, to be revealed by the Hollywood Academy on December 16th.

Belén is competing against The Secret Agent (Brazil), and Sirat ‌(Spain) for the Critics’ Choice Award. The nomination is fueling⁣ optimism about the film’s chances in the coming months, particularly given the highly competitive nature of⁤ this year’s category.
