BEIJING — In the first half of 2025, Beijing established 10,900 new entities in its digital economy and core industries, a 53.92 percent year-on-year increase. The digital technology application sector led this growth, accounting for 62.51 percent of the total, according to local authorities.
the capital saw 176,800 new market entities, a 17.64 percent rise, marking its strongest first-half growth in four years.this expansion is fueled by a synergy between producer services, the digital economy, cultural industries, and elderly care services, driving industrial upgrading toward higher value-added, digitalized, and service-oriented structures.
