The Frosinone Local Health authority (ASL) has officially welcomed its new Health Director, Maria Giovanna Colella, and Administrative Director, Giovannino Rossi. Both directors commenced their duties yesterday,immediately immersing themselves in the operational priorities of the organization.

Director Colella began her tenure by participating in a crucial meeting convened by the Lazio Region, followed by a series of focused discussions on the territory’s pressing health priorities. Her immediate engagement underscores a commitment to understanding and addressing the specific needs of the Frosinone region.

Simultaneously occurring, Director Rossi initiated his role by meeting with the directors of the complex administrative structures, laying the groundwork for robust and effective collaboration. His focus on administrative synergy signals an intent to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Expressing her gratitude, Director Colella stated, “I thank all the health workers, doctors, nurses, midwives, technical, administrative, and support staff who are available to users daily to provide health.It will be my priority to evaluate the needs of this territory, a vast and complex territory but full of skills and professionalism. We will work to improve all aspects and assistance settings. I thank the general manager for the assignment, with whom I am certain we will work with full and profitable collaboration.”

director Rossi echoed this sentiment, adding, “I will stubbornly seek the sharing of administrative procedures with the directors of the operating units, which I thank for the certain availability that they will ensure me. I will also take care of establishing a profitable dialectic with trade union organizations and all associations, based on loyalty and fairness. All in total adherence with the directives of the general manager, who I dutifully thank for the prospect he offers me.”

The backgrounds of the new directors bring a wealth of experience to their roles. Maria Giovanna Colella previously served as the head of the Women’s Health Department and Pathophysiology of Reproduction at ASL Roma 1, and as director of Neonatology at Santo Spirito and San Filippo neri hospitals. She also directed Neonatology and Pediatrics in Fondi and led the maternal department at ASL Latina.

Giovannino Rossi’s extensive administrative career includes his role as director of human resources management at ASL Roma 6, and prior to that, as administrative director at the Crob of Rionero in Vulture.

General Manager Arturo Cavaliere expressed his optimism, stating, “With the entry of the new administrative and health directors, the governance of our company is completed in a strategic and coherent way. The formation of this summit team, made up of highly experienced and competent professionals such as Dr. Rossi and Dr. Colella, marks the begining of a new phase for the ASL of Frosinone.I intend to continue with greater momentum and determination to improve the quality of health services, organizational efficiency, and the enhancement of internal professionalism.”
