Apple Rolls Out iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA – September 25, 2025 – Apple today released major software updates for all of its major platforms: iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26. the updates are available as free software downloads for compatible devices.
visionOS 26 & apple Vision Pro: The latest visionOS update enhances Personas with improved hair,eyelashes,and skin textures for a more natural and familiar appearance. users can now share “Special Experiences” - including 3D movies and games – with other Apple Vision Pro users in the same room. A new interactive surroundings, Jupiter, allows users to manipulate time and view a massive, rotating planet. Features from Apple Intelligence, including updates to Image Playground, are also integrated.
AirPods Enhancements: The updates deliver studio-quality audio recording capabilities for AirPods, with Voice isolation technology to improve clarity even in noisy environments. A Camera remote feature enables users to remotely start and stop video recordings.
iOS 26 & iPadOS 26: CarPlay receives a visual overhaul and usability improvements. Updates include a compact new view for incoming calls, conversations, and Tapbacks in Messages, alongside widgets and Live Activities for continuous updates while driving.
tvOS 26: Apple TV now supports automatic profile selection upon device startup. Users can quickly access their Private Watchlist in the TV app and playlists in Apple Music. The Sing feature in Apple Music transforms an iPhone into a microphone for Apple TV, with voice expansion for karaoke-style singing.
