Apple is preparing a series of product announcements across a three-day period starting March 2nd, culminating in an event on March 4th. While not a traditional keynote presentation, Apple will host a “Special Apple Experience” in New York, London, and Shanghai on Wednesday, March 4th, offering media representatives hands-on demonstrations of forthcoming devices, according to a report from the Telegraph.

The company is expected to unveil a new entry-level iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 17e, alongside updated iPad and MacBook models, according to Bloomberg News’ Mark Gurman. Apple plans to introduce a new base-model iPad equipped with the A18 chip, as well as updated iPad Air models in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes powered by the M4 chip.

Long-anticipated, Apple is finally ready to release its entry-level MacBook (J700) featuring the A18 Pro chip, and will be available in multiple color options. The color scheme is expected to include Yellow, Green, and Blue, mirroring the event’s invitation artwork. Previous rumors too suggested potential availability in Pink, Silver, and Dark Gray.

Beyond the new entry-level MacBook, Apple is also expected to launch updated MacBook Air and Pro models featuring enhanced M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips. Daring Fireball’s John Gruber predicts a staggered release schedule, suggesting the iPhone 17e could be revealed on Monday, March 2nd, followed by new iPads on Tuesday, March 3rd, and the new MacBooks on Wednesday, March 4th.

Apple’s approach of utilizing press releases for announcements, rather than a single keynote event, represents a shift in strategy. The “Special Apple Experience” events will allow focused, hands-on engagement with the media, providing detailed previews of the new product lineup before they become available to consumers.
