A couple’s engagement at a Chili’s restaurant inside Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport recently went viral after being captured in a series of TikTok videos. The proposal, which occurred at the Terminal 3 location, featured an instrumental version of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as the backdrop for the moment.
Videos show the couple approaching the restaurant as the song begins to play. As the man knelt to propose, onlookers, including airport employees and fellow passengers, began filming the scene. Cheers erupted when the bride-to-be accepted the proposal. Employees reportedly prepared a montage video of the couple to play on a screen inside the restaurant during the engagement.
The Chili’s location in O’Hare’s Terminal 3 is open daily from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM, offering dine-in, pickup, and delivery services. It can be found in Building 6 of the terminal. Another Chili’s restaurant is located in Terminal 1 near Gate B14.
