Hardware Iterations and Feature Sets Driving the Discounts
The AirPods Pro 3 arrived on the market in September 2025, bringing several architectural and acoustic revisions over the previous generation. The updated model features Active Noise Cancellation rated at twice the performance of its predecessor, alongside better audio quality and a revised fit intended to improve comfort and stability. Additional onboard hardware additions include Live Translation for in-person conversations and integrated heart rate sensing functionality designed for workouts.
The companion over-ear AirPods Max 2 refresh applies identical discounting across all inventory finishes. While standard pricing sits at $549.00, the current $429.00 threshold represents one of the lowest prices recorded for the hardware.
