RELIGION, iNews.id – Dozens of pigs in Maua Hilia, Palembayan District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra (Boast) died suddenly. The pig was positively exposed to the African Swine Fever (ASF) virus or virus African swine flu.
“This is known based on the results of the Bukittinggi Veterinary Center laboratory and the results of this labor will be out on Monday (12/20/2021),” said the Head of the Animal Health and Veterinary Public Health Division of the Agam Agriculture Service, Farid Muslim, Thursday (12/23/2021).
He added that the samples of the pigs that died suddenly were taken by a joint team from the Bukittinggi Veterinary Center, the West Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA), the Animal Husbandry Service, West Sumatra Animal Health on Wednesday (8/12/2021).
The joint team took samples in the form of skull bones, bones from other body parts, soil locations The pig is dead suddenly and water sources after receiving reports from residents that dozens of pigs died suddenly.
“The team found two pig organs and one of the pork bone samples taken was positive for ASF,” he said.
