House Democrats Release Images and video from Jeffrey Epstein‘s Private Island
WASHINGTON – House Democrats on the Oversight Committee released a series of previously unseen photographs and videos depicting the interior of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, and his Palm Beach residence, on November 13, 2023. The release comes as a new law mandates the Justice Department to declassify and release records related to Epstein’s crimes and associates.
The images offer a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle and alleged criminal activity at the center of the Epstein scandal. Photos include a landline phone with speed dial entries for “Darren,” “Rich,” “Mike,” “Patrick,” and “Larry,” and also a New York office number; four other names on the speed dial were redacted.A blackboard in Epstein’s study featured scribbled words such as “political,” “plots,” “deception,” “power,” “truth,” and “music.”
Additional images showcase bedrooms, bathrooms, and an aerial view of the island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein allegedly groomed and abused girls as young as 14 while hosting powerful individuals.
The Democrats shared the materials on X, formerly Twitter, inviting the public to “see for yourself.” (https://x.com/OversightDems/status/1996254530447569384)
President Trump signed legislation on November 19, 2023, giving the Justice department 30 days to make public all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials related to Epstein. The law also requires Attorney General pam Bondi to submit a list of government officials and “politically exposed persons” linked to Epstein by Thursday.
