ENNEPETAL, Germany – BILSTEIN is upgrading its packaging starting in 2026, implementing changes designed to enhance product security, streamline logistics, adn reinforce its premium brand image. Teh new packaging will feature five layers of high-quality corrugated cardboard-an increase from the previous three-along with a thicker, optimized coating for increased stability during transport.
A key component of the update is the introduction of the BILSTEIN security label,complete with an integrated authenticity check,allowing dealers and workshops to quickly verify product genuineness. Each box will also include a QR code linking directly to the BILSTEIN workshop world for improved trade and service efficiency.
BILSTEIN emphasizes sustainability, stating the new packaging is made from environmentally kind, 100% recyclable materials and utilizes biodegradable, non-toxic printing inks.
The rollout will follow a testing phase beginning in early 2026, with a transition period where both old and new packaging will be in circulation. BILSTEIN confirms products in existing packaging remain fully usable.
