GTA 6 Leaks: Animator‘s Portfolio Reveals Potential Gameplay Details
A Rockstar Games animator inadvertently showcased two short animations believed to be from Grand Theft Auto VI in a now-deleted portfolio video, igniting fresh discussion among fans. Benjamin Chue’s reel, discovered on Reddit and reported by Video Games Chronicle, featured unfinished animations alongside work from Red Dead Redemption 2, Max Payne 3, and Grand Theft Auto 5.
The leak comes as Grand Theft Auto VI faces a six-month release delay, now targeting a November 19, 2026 launch for PlayStation 5 and xbox Series X/S. While the animations are brief and lack final textures, they depict a bicycle rental system-potentially utilizing a LimeBike-style interface-and a female character jumping from a truck platform. The bicycle rental docks were previously spotted in a game preview. The significance lies in offering a first glimpse of potential gameplay mechanics, despite the animations appearing to be transitional scenes and not fully representative of final in-game features. Rockstar has not commented on the leak.
