White House Announces Revised ukraine peace Plan, Awaits Russian Review

WASHINGTON – The White House revealed details of a revised peace proposal for Ukraine overnight, following discussions with Ukrainian representatives in Geneva on November 23, 2025. The plan, intended to bring a “just and lasting peace,” will be re-presented to Russia, according to White House press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

The talks between U.S. and Ukrainian officials were described as “constructive, focused and respectful,” highlighting a “shared commitment” to ending the conflict. president Trump “deserves enormous praise for the energy and effort he put into trying to bring both sides to an end to this war,” leavitt stated, emphasizing the President’s desire “to see the killing end.”

Leavitt asserted that President Trump exerted “a lot of pressure on both leaders,” Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, and is eager for a swift resolution. She dismissed any claims to the contrary as stemming from misinformation or self-interest,stating,”No one in this building is profiting from the war. We want this war to end.”

Responding to criticism regarding potential concessions to Russia, Leavitt pointed to positive feedback received from Ukrainian officials regarding the plan. “Thay were very committed. They had a direct impact on the content of this plan and we are in direct contact with them,” she said.

While a meeting between President trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky is not currently scheduled, Leavitt noted, “things can change very quickly,” and updates will be provided as available.
