Huawei’s Mate 80 Series to Feature extended Battery Life with New ‘Outdoor Mode’
JAKARTA – Huawei is set to launch it’s mate 80 series on November 25 in China, highlighting a new “Outdoor Mode” designed to significantly extend battery life.The company has been teasing features ahead of the launch, including camera samples and now, details on the power-saving capability.
According to a video released on the Weibo platform, Huawei claims the Outdoor Mode can extend battery life to up to 14 days on a single charge. While this claim awaits autonomous verification through user testing following the official release, it positions battery performance as a key selling point for the new series.
The November 25 launch event will also showcase the Mate X7 and MatePad Edge. Additional teasers have focused on the durability of the Mate 80 Pro Max, emphasizing its water and dust resistance, and the camera system, featuring a “second generation Red Maple imaging” processing technology.
