LFI Candidate Calls for Cancellation of Amir Concert in Brest
Brest, France – A candidate for the upcoming Brest municipal elections, representing La France Insoumise (LFI), is demanding the cancellation of a concert by singer Amir scheduled for December 16th at the Brest Arena. the call for cancellation stems from Amir’s past performances in Israel, which the LFI candidate deems incompatible with the party’s stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The controversy resurfaced following renewed calls for boycotts of Amir’s current Amir-C tour, fueled by his participation in events held in Israel.
