Two Belgian DJs, Simon B and Maya Cox, are preparing to take the stage at Tomorrowland 2025, one of the world’s most iconic electronic music festivals. their performances mark a significant milestone, highlighting their talent and the support of Radio Contact, an official partner of the event.

Simon B: A Decade of Mixing Expertise

Simon B, whose real name is Benali, has been professionally mixing for a decade, although his passion began much earlier. “I have touched the turntables as the age of 15, 16, I started private at 18 and I made my frist dates in night boxes at 21,” he recounts. Now 31,Simon B is a resident of the “Contact DJ’s” program,hosted by justin Douilliez on Radio Contact every friday and Saturday evening. This platform allows him creative freedom to showcase his favorite content and highlight emerging Belgian DJ talent.

Simon B describes his style as “Open format, generalist,” enjoying the versatility of blending different genres. He elaborates, “I like to go and get different styles, Jumper from one style to another, surprise people with things they know well. I love going to electro evenings and,next to it,mix RNB hip-hop from the 90s,make an audience dance very different.” His mixing experience extends beyond Belgium, including performances at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix for two years and the Fashion League in New York, where he held a four-year residency. He is also a resident at Doctor Jack in Braine-l’Alleud.

Maya Cox: From Shy Introvert to Tomorrowland Stage

Maya Cox brings two decades of mixing experience to Tomorrowland. She appreciates performing in diverse settings, including festivals, clubs, and corporate events for brands like Porsche, Veuve Clicquot, and Guerlain. Cox reflects on her journey, “I who was shy and introverted, mixing was a real therapy that allowed me to open up to the world and be more comfortable in my evolution and my personal journey.It has become a real passion that nourishes me.”

Cox began her career in 2007, performing with her cousin during botany evenings organized in partnership with Pure FM. She quickly transitioned to a solo career and joined Radio Contact’s “Contact DJ’s” program alongside Simon B. While this isn’t her first Tomorrowland experience, it marks her debut on a main stage. “I have already mixed in Tomorrowland in 2014. But it was not on a main scene, it was for a VIP Room for Chameleon. I mixed all night with friends until 8 am and it was great. But here, on Sunday July 20, it will be different, for the first time on a real scene. I am already having fun.”
