SNL‘ Revives ​Beloved Domingo Sketch with host Sabrina Carpenter

New York, ‍NY ‌- Saturday ‍Night Live brought back its popular “Domingo” sketch during ​an episode hosted by singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter, ‌marking her ‌first time as host and second ‌appearance ⁢as musical guest. The⁢ sketch, featuring Kenan Thompson as the hilariously overzealous ‌Domingo, saw him “arresting” Carpenter for repeatedly⁤ impersonating a police officer during her concerts, joking, “And you’re arresting innocent hot people.”

The revival of⁣ the “Domingo” sketch, a fan favorite from previous ‌seasons, underscores​ SNL’s strategy of blending current events with established, ‌well-received characters ⁤to draw ⁤viewership. Carpenter’s ⁣episode follows⁤ hosting ‌gigs by Bad Bunny and Amy‌ Poehler, kicking off season 51. the show continues to ⁣be a launchpad for both​ established and rising stars, and the inclusion of recurring bits like “Domingo” provides a familiar touchstone for ​longtime viewers.
