Bogota, Colombia – Guns N’ Roses ignited a moment of political expression during their October 7, 2025, concert at Vive claro in Bogota, Colombia, when vocalist Axl Rose displayed a Palestinian flag during the performance of their hit song, “Civil War.” The flag was thrown from the audience and deliberately raised by Rose mid-song, a gesture captured in a viral video circulating on social media.
The concert itself overcame last-minute hurdles, initially facing licensing issues that threatened cancellation. however, local authorities granted permission just three days before the scheduled performance, allowing the show to proceed. The band was greeted with roaring applause as Slash launched into the opening riff of “Welcome to the Jungle.”
Guns N’ Roses delivered a setlist packed with classics, including “Mr. Brownstone,” “Chinese Democracy,” “Bad Obsession,” “It’s So Easy,” and a cover of Velvet Revolver’s “Slither.” A poignant moment occurred when Rose dedicated songs to Ozzy osbourne, the late vocalist of Black Sabbath, who passed away in July, performing tributes “Never Say die” and ”Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” to extended applause.
