Official 2026 World Cup Ball Revealed: Adidas Trionda Features New Tech & Host nation Homage
FIFA unveiled the official ball for the 2026 World Cup on Wednesday: the Adidas Trionda. The design incorporates elements representing the tournamentS three host nations – Canada, Mexico, and the united States.
The ball features a white base wiht green, red, and blue colors. The green imagery represents an eagle, a symbol of Mexico, while red depicts Canadian Arce, and blue showcases the stars of the United States. The colors blend seamlessly, visually connecting the three countries. The Trionda will be used in select international matches starting in October, though confirmation for the upcoming FIFA date is pending.
Adidas engineered the Trionda with several innovations, including four unified panels connected by deep seams designed to provide “optimal stability when traveling through the air” and uniform aerodynamic resistance. A spherical relief texture is intended to enhance performance in wet conditions.
