Homeland Security: ICE to Attend Bad Bunny Super Bowl Halftime Show

Santa Clara, Calif. – Oct. 1 (UPI) – Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will⁣ be present at the Super Bowl halftime show featuring‍ Bad​ Bunny, ‌according ‌to Homeland Security adviser Corey Lewandowski.

Lewandowski, 52, made the ⁢claim ⁤during⁢ an appearance on ⁢”The Benny ‍Show” podcast Wednesday,⁣ The‍ Hill reported. He‍ stated that ICE will actively ⁤seek out ‍individuals in the contry illegally.

“There is nowhere that you can provide a safe ‌haven to the people ‌in this‍ country ​illegally,” Lewandowski ⁢said. “We will find you. We ‍will apprehend⁢ you. We will put you in a detention‍ facility, and we⁤ will deport you.”

Lewandowski ​previously ​served as campaign manager for President Donald Trump⁤ in⁣ 2016 and ​as a senior adviser in 2020‍ and 2024.

The Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., represents the only U.S.⁢ performance currently scheduled for 2026​ for Bad Bunny,‌ whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio. The Puerto Rican artist has won three grammy Awards.

Bad bunny ‍previously announced he woudl limit U.S. performances due to⁣ concerns about potential ICE ​raids at his concert venues, Variety reported. ⁤He affirmed ‍this decision on X, stating ⁤he​ would perform only “one date in the United States.”

The artist has a ‌world tour scheduled from December through July.
