Ichinoseki too Host Free Rugby Clinic for Elementary School Students
ICHINOSEKI, IWATE PREFECTURE – The japan Rugby Football Association, with special support from Taiyo Life Insurance Co.,Ltd., will host the “Taiyo Life Rugby 1-Day School in Ichinoseki” on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, at the Ichinoseki Sports Park Athletics Stadium. The free clinic is designed for 5th and 6th grade elementary school students,both male and female,with some prior rugby experience.
The event, running from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM (reception from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM), will feature a skill-up programme led by Kanematsu Yuka, head coach of the Joshi Sevens team. Participants will receive an original T-shirt as an attendance award.
Applications will be accepted via a dedicated online form (https://business.form-mailer.jp/fms/c93e34fe309997) until Sunday, October 19th, 2025.
Organizers emphasize the importance of appropriate athletic wear and footwear, and request participants refrain from eating on the ground.While safety measures will be in place, the Japan Rugby Football Association notes they are not liable for injuries beyond initial first aid. Event details are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather.Accident insurance will be provided for all participants.
