Young Guns to Battle for Rainbow Jerseys in Junior Time Trials at Road World Championships
Kigali, Rwanda – September 23 - the UCI Road World Championships continue today with the Junior Individual Time Trials, offering a crucial platform for emerging cycling talent to showcase their abilities on the global stage. Riders will compete for the coveted rainbow jerseys, marking a career highlight for the victors and signaling the arrival of potential future stars.
Tuesday’s competition features both the Women’s junior Individual Time Trial at 10:45 local time, followed by the Men’s Junior Individual Time Trial at 14:00. The courses, measuring 18.3km for women and 22.6km for men, will test the riders’ strength, endurance, and technical skills as they navigate the challenging terrain of Kigali.
