Man Charged in Connection with Death of Crystal Beale, Body Found in Brisbane River
Brisbane, QLD – A man has been charged with the murder of queensland mother Crystal Beale, whose body was found in the Brisbane River. the progress comes after what police have described as a “complex and protracted” inquiry.
The charge brings a measure of closure to Ms. Beale’s family and the community, following a period of uncertainty and grief. The investigation, involving extensive efforts from investigators and forensic police, and also assistance from the public, focused on determining the circumstances surrounding her death.
District Detective Inspector Francis thanked investigators and members of the public for their contributions. “It was a complex and protracted investigation over that time, investigators made extensive efforts, as well as forensic police, to try and find out what happened to crystal,” he said. ”A number of members of the public assisted the investigation as it unfolded in terms of providing CCTV and things like that that assisted the investigation as it occurred.”
