The Basalt X combines the robust front appearance typical of an SUV with a sloping rear silhouette. Citroen describes the car as “compact but fierce-faced,” featuring headlights directly connected to the company logo and a dominant, radically designed grille.
Inside, the Basalt X aims for a premium feel with soft synthetic leather trims accented with gold, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and a frameless 26 cm touchscreen integrated with digital instrument panels.Safety features are thorough and standard across all variants, including six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Isofix child seat anchors, hill-hold assist, and a perimeter alarm.
