“These documents demonstrate that in difficult times, merchants always came to the rescue,” explained Mikhail Dingis, Deputy Director of the Central Archive of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. “We have presented drawings and plans of the widow House, now a hostel on lyadov Square, and a plan for the House named after Mikhail and Lyubov Rukavishnikov, which today houses the buildings of Nizholgraf. The records of famous merchants like Bugrov, Blinov, rukavishnikov, and Sirotkin are also featured, providing a tangible connection to their generous legacies.”
