Berlin,Germany – A car has struck a group of people in Berlin’s Wedding district this afternoon,leaving several children with minor injuries and one adult in serious condition. The incident occurred around 1:10 PM local time at the intersection of Sextract and Dohnagstell.
Initial reports from german emergency services, as cited by Reuters, indicate the incident was an accident. According to Bild, a BMW lost control and collided with a group of children, aged 7-8 years old.
Three of the fifteen children involved sustained slight injuries and have been transported to the Virchow hospital for treatment. A supervising adult was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
