International School Dhaka Launches Robotics Program with Carnegie Mellon University
Dhaka, Bangladesh – International School Dhaka (ISD) is empowering the next generation of innovators with the launch of it’s Carnegie Mellon Robotics Training Program, offering students across Dhaka a unique chance to develop critical skills in robotics, technology, and problem-solving. Registration is now open for the eight-week program, set to begin September 6th.
The program, a collaboration with the renowned Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy, aims to provide a hands-on learning experience tailored to different skill levels. Students will be grouped based on their grade and existing proficiency, ensuring a personalized educational journey. Sessions will be held every Saturday for 90 minutes, commencing at 9:00 am at the ISD Design Center.
Leading the program is George Carrington, ISD’s Head of Design and a certified instructor from the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy. carrington brings a wealth of experience in design and robotics education, ensuring students receive instruction from a qualified professional.

Participants will engage in practical exercises and projects designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. The curriculum will cover basic robotics concepts, programming, and engineering principles. Upon accomplished completion of the program,students will receive platform-specific certifications directly from the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy,a valuable credential for future academic and professional pursuits.
