Breaking: Princess Beatrice celebrated her 37th birthday on August 8th, with a heartfelt Instagram tribute from her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. the post included a photo from Royal Ascot in June and a sweet message referencing their children.

Edoardo mapelli Mozzi,41,shared a touching birthday message to Princess Beatrice on Instagram on friday. Alongside a picture of the Princess at Royal Ascot, held at the Berkshire racecourse on June 20th, he wrote: “Happy birthday to my BEAUTIFUL wife. You are the greatest. We love you so much. E,W,S,A xxxx”, accompanied by three emojis, including a heart-eyed emoji. The initials following ‘E’ represent their children: Sienna, Wolfie, and Athena.

princess Beatrice,the elder daughter of Prince Andrew,Duke of York,and Sarah,Duchess of York,married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on October 17,2020,at the Chapel Royal,St. James’s Palace, in a private ceremony limited to around 14 guests due to COVID-19 restrictions. The couple currently resides at Ivy Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace in London.

The couple share two daughters: sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, born September 18, 2021, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and Athena Mapelli Mozzi, born January 22, 2023. Beatrice is also stepmother to Edoardo’s son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship.

This year’s birthday was notably critically important for Princess Beatrice as it marked her first as a mother of two. Athena’s arrival was premature, causing the Princess “months of sheer worry,” as she shared with HELLO! magazine. Athena made her first public appearance with her family at the lionesses’ victory parade on August 7th, following England’s Euro 2025 win.

The timing of Beatrice and Eugenie’s motherhood journeys has been closely linked. Princess Eugenie welcomed her son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, on February 9, 2021, just months before Sienna’s birth, allowing the sisters to share experiences and support each other through early motherhood.
