Pastor Werner Fimm: Catholic Priest and Online Evangelist Dies

Liechtenstein-based Priest Dedicated to Evangelization After Years of Pastoral Work

A priest with a background in pastoral care and a focus on evangelization was ordained to the diaconate on March 19, 2001, and subsequently ordained to the priesthood on September 29, 2001, in Schaan, Liechtenstein. The ordination ceremony took place within the catholic parish structure of the Principality of Liechtenstein, a small German-speaking country bordering Switzerland and Austria.

From August 2004 until 2014, he served as a pastor in Triesen, a municipality in Liechtenstein located in the Rhine Valley. During his time in Triesen, his work centered on providing pastoral care to the local community. In 2014, with the approval of his bishop, he transitioned to a full-time role dedicated to evangelization, allowing him to concentrate on spreading the Catholic faith without the responsibilities of a fixed parish assignment. This shift enabled a broader outreach and focus on initiatives beyond the confines of a single parish.
