Two former Bayern Munich loanees, Sam Kerr and Jill Baijings, have secured permanent moves to England’s Women’s Super League. Kerr is set to join Liverpool, while Baijings will play for Aston Villa.
Kerr’s Bayern Stint and Liverpool Move
Sam Kerr joined Bayern Munich from Rangers in the summer of 2023. During her time with the German club, she appeared in 18 matches across all competitions in her inaugural season and 11 in the first half of the subsequent season before her loan spell. She did not register any goals for Bayern.
Her loan at Liverpool saw **Kerr** participate in 14 league games, providing one assist. She also scored once in the FA Cup for the English club.
Baijings’ Championship Season and Villa Transfer
Jill Baijings arrived at Bayern in 2023, contributing to their league title victory that year. She recorded two assists in league play and scored a goal in a DFB-Pokal match.
Last season, **Baijings** spent time at Aston Villa, featuring in 12 league matches, starting eight. She contributed one assist in the league and found the net once in three FA Cup appearances.
