Formula E is set to expand its global reach in 2026, with the all-electric racing series announcing the inclusion of both Madrid, Spain, and Miami, Florida, to its annual circuit. This marks a significant step for the championship as it continues to grow its international presence.
The provisional calendar for the 2026 season, which was validated by the FIA, features a total of 18 races spread across 12 cities. The Miami E-Prix, tentatively scheduled for january 31, will be only the second time the city hosts a Formula E event.Notably, this race will be held at the International Autodrome, located in the vicinity of the Hard Rock Stadium, a first for the series in Miami.
Meanwhile, the Madrid E-Prix is slated for March 21, signifying the inaugural visit of Formula E to the Spanish capital for a competitive race. The 2026 season is projected to commence in December of the preceding year in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will conclude with a double-header event in London, United Kingdom, in August of the following year.
Beyond these new additions,Formula E’s 2026 calendar will also include races in Mexico,Saudi Arabia,Germany,Monaco,China,and Japan,underscoring the series’ commitment to a diverse and geographically varied schedule.
Currently, three race slots remain unassigned to specific host cities. These are scheduled for june 20 and July 4 and 5, with the latter date designated for a double-header. Formula E has indicated that the locations for these races will be revealed later this year.
