This points to the unveiling event occurring during the week of September 8. “The company usually unveils its new iPhones the week after Labor Day,” Gurman stated in his “Power On” newsletter. “If that holds — and there’s no reason to believe it won’t — you can pencil in the keynote for the week of Sept. 8.”
This timing strategically avoids a clash with the IFA electronics trade show in Berlin, allowing Apple to command the full media spotlight. While Tuesdays have been a common day for these events, Gurman notes Apple has experimented with Mondays recently, though he leans towards Tuesday, September 9, or Wednesday, September 10, as more probable dates.
