The cause is me. “ARENA LIVE 2025 Johakyu” National Yoyogi Stadium 1st Gymnasium
“I love you” message to observers
Once the song is over, we head to the solo dance part, aligning with instrumental instruments. Seven people are scattered around the center stage, Hanamichi, and the main stage, each one performs an impressive dance. After such an exciting time, the seven members joined the main stage and featured the funk number “LL” provided by .ENDRECHERI. (Domoto Tsuyoshi). This song can be considered a new ground for Genjibu, but the straightforward message of “I love you” that was encapsulated in it was shared warmly between Genjibu and observers.

Once the members disappear from the stage, a video that could be called interlude begins to appear. The story involves seven angels descending to various places on earth. What do angels feel there, unleashed from heaven into the real world, whether in offices, parks, clubs, or planes?

As the stage was lit up again by a dazzling light, the members appeared one by one in a transparent box and began singing “The Finale.” All of them were dressed in relatively casual outfits, with some members wearing eyewear. It seems to be trying to hide the existence of an angel and blend in with the world on earth. His performance, moving on stage while still in the box and unfolding formations, was a truly innovative production. At the end of the song, the seven members left the box and stopped moving as if time had stopped. Then, the intro to “Candle” begins to move. The mellow singing voice echoes through the sound, which has a medium tempo R&B nuance. Combined with the visual production where many candles emit a faint glow, it brought a mature atmosphere that really captivates you.
What Genjibu conveys through music

and. The video that was shown on the monitor that day was rewinded. Going back in time, Yoshizawa, who appears in an angel, clicks his tongue at the end. “Tch.” The audience is booming. This was the signal that began with the last number of the day, “Causal Antinomy.” While performing an impressive tat dance, the realistic lyrics that reflect the current real world are thrust into the air.

I think Genjibu’s message that “It’s all about causality and it depends on you” was a fitting way to close the live performance that day. The phrase “Welcome back” by Mokuyo in the song is also incredibly meaningful when you listen to it after the rewinded footage. Genjibu, who performed with all his heart until the very end, delivered the strongest song, disappeared by a semicircular monitor that came down from the sky, as special silver tape danced. It was the moment when the approximately two-hour live performance reached its grand finale.
The true meaning of this live show was tried to convey by the title “Joha Kyu”, the several inserted footage, and the carefully calculated and arranged songs. Each observer must have left the venue with the joy of considering it. Rather than just having fun, he encourages people to raise some kind of problem and also asks the meaning of life through music. I think that is the biggest attraction of the group Genjibu. Having led their biggest live performance to a great success, they aim to make even greater leaps. It has also been decided that their 4th single, “Paranoid Rendezvous,” will be released on October 15th. I’m really looking forward to Genjibu’s future, continuing his momentum in his seventh year. Don’t be afraid to say it misleading. For both Genjibu and observers, isn’t the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium still not enough?
