The latest update focuses on letting you change the color of conversation bubbles and the default background. The new color palette includes softer shades of pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, brown, and grey. A Visually Consistent Interface
Once you select a new color, WhatsApp automatically updates the bubbles for both incoming and outgoing messages to match. The classic background “doodle” is also adjusted to integrate wiht the new theme, creating a cohesive and visually appealing experience.

Activating the New Colors
To access this feature on iOS, navigate to Settings > Chats > Chat Wallpaper > Choose a color. Here, you can select from the 38 available colors. For individual chats, open the conversation, tap the contact or group name, and choose the wallpaper option.

Android Users, Stay Tuned
