Alistan Bienestar and SSM program to benefit women with cancer who care for minors

Morelia, Michoacán, February 2, 2023.- The organization is advancing to carry out the signing of an agreement between the Michoacán Welfare Secretariat (Sedebi) and the Health Secretariat (SSM) to launch the Program for Women with Breast or Cervical Cancer Caregivers of Minors.

The signing of two agreements is expected, the first to give continuity to the operation of the Families Caregivers of Girls and Boys with Cancer Program and the second will allow good collaboration between the Michoacán Welfare Secretariat and the State Cancer Care Center so that this benefit reaches all women with breast and cervical cancer who are part of your care list.

This will make it possible to implement the operating rules of the new welfare program of the Government of Michoacán so that no Michoacán woman with invasive breast and cervical cancer is left without receiving the economic benefit.

This program contemplates the support of 4 thousand pesos per month, which will be delivered directly to the beneficiary women.

This benefit is aimed at women between the ages of 18 and 64 who reside in the State, who are mothers of minors between the ages of 0 and 17 years and 11 months, and who present an oncological condition such as invasive breast or cervical cancer with the purpose of continue their treatment or return to it.
